I like to use these as an alternative to a dog long line. These have a greater length and are soft on the hand. You can also tie knots in them every metre to create stopping points so that you can stop the dog if needed.

Whistle recall will be one of the best things you will ever teach your dog. These are the best ones i have found, depending on your dog breed a different frequency may work better.
Training Lead
A double ended lead can be a great training tool for when you are learning to loose lead, great to add extra safety for reactive dogs or dogs who back out of their harnesses by clipping one end onto their harness and one on their collar.

A muzzle is a great tool to have for your dog, even if they arent aggressive, just incase you need it. They may be required to wear a muzzle at the vet, or at the groomers. They may be a dog who scavenges on walks. Either way its a great idea to muzzle train all dogs. You will have to find the correct size muzzle for your dog by checking the size guide.
