New year, new you?

So many of us tell ourselves this every single year but it never really happens right?

Some of us are strong enough and push through and get things done, some of us need help with the motivation.

Did you know it takes 66 days for a new behaviour to become a habit? So if you're a nail biter, it takes 66 days of you stopping yourself from doing so one way or another to break your nail biting habit.

How about today you spend 3 minutes while your kettle boils to do a tiny bit of training with your dog? Start off easy, do some trick training and keep things light and fun for both you and your dog.

Take it week by week, small session at a time. We all know when we do something we didnt think we could do that it feels oh so rewarding. So start this new habit by doing something fun, and training your dog a new trick everyday. Dedicate your days from now until 7th March to get into that habit of training your dog. Learning new things and become a trick master.

From there the world is your oyster, smash that recall or loose lead, teach yourself and your dog all the things you can possibly think of! That's not to say you cant teach your dog recall or loose lead before then, but keep things light to keep the habit going.

As a starter use the kettle training as an example and a way to teach your dog a new trick everyday! 3 minutes a day is all i'm asking!

WE'VE GOT THIS.
